Quality and safety at Genpower

Genpower gained its NEN-ISO 9001:2015 certification in 1994. To our customers this simply means that the entire process of hiring temporary power supplies has been properly taken care of, from start to finish.

By translating every work action into concrete procedures, an efficient and high-quality way of working is established. For you this forms the guarantee that our generators and other equipment will be delivered to you in accordance with the strictest quality standards.

Genpower is committed to promoting a safe and healthy working environment for its workforce, and we focus on improving the safety of our working and living environment. We do so by means of our products, but also through our work methods, both in-house and on-site with our customers. The success of these efforts is confirmed by the extremely low turnover of staff and low absentee rates.

In addition, we annually calculate our CO₂ footprint and draw up a RI&E plan as well as a list of possible actions to obviate, or at least minimise, risks.

ISO 9001

Genpower has been ISO9001-certified since 1994. Basically, ISO9001 is a powerful management instrument for quality improvement. We believe that quality and sustainability go perfectly well together and can even enhance each other. The challenge lies in making well-considered choices without making concessions to price and quality.

VCA

All our service engineers and drivers hold a Basic Safety 1 VCA certificate and take regular refresher courses. Their personal gear and equipment are inspected regularly in accordance with VCA guidelines and replaced if necessary.

ADR

When transporting hazardous materials by road, both the vehicle and the driver must comply with strict European regulations. All our drivers hold an ADR certificate, and our vehicles undergo extensive annual ADR testing.

ADR is a European agreement for the transport of hazardous materials by road.
